"I try my hardest to give you a better life than I had growing up." Is what my mother told me when I was young. Ever since that day I have striven to be the best person I can to honor what she has given me. I always do the best I can to make her proud and give her thanks for what she has given me. She sets the example of the person everyone should be.
My mother Donna is a hard working, honest, loving, and caring mother. She is always there for me through anytime in my life and always believes in me. She has two jobs and works everynight until 10:00. She works so hard to keep paying the bills she barely has anytime for herself. Knowing she puts all of that hard work into our family, I give all of my hard work for her. Either it be getting the better grades in school or helping her clean house, I am always willing to do anything for her. She inspires me to always try my hardest and never give up.
My mother is always caring and thoughtful about other people. She respects other peoples opinions and always gives advice when needed. Whenever I didn't feel like going to football practice or baseball practice she would remind me, there's not much left on the season and its not that hard to stick it out. I am so glad she kept telling me that, I don't think I would be able look back on my childhood with happiness if I would have quit one of those sports. Whenever I go to my mom about tricky situations in life, even if I'm wrong, she will respect what my idea of facing it would be but at the same time tell me what would be the best way to do. And her way always works.
My mom sums up everything I want to be in life. I strive to be fearless and willing to take on any challenges that come in life. I intend on going to the University Of Nebraska at Lincoln to study radio broadcasting, and I plan on pursuing that dream to make my mom proud. The thing she wants most from me is to get a college degree and I will not let her down. My mom is the reason our family keeps together and I enormously respect that. I want to give my mom to be proud of me for what I have done in my life. I feel if she is proud I have given her something back for giving me an amazing life. I will always strive to be just like my mom; caring, respectful, loving, hard working, honest and true. I am a momma's boy and I'm not afraid to say I love my momma :).
